For those with limited budgets and no qualms about traveling abroad, there are a multitude of international destinations that offer everything from thrilling adventures to serene escapes.
By carefully selecting destinations from all over the world, you can experience a thrilling escape or simply rekindle your sense of adventure by taking a vacation abroad. Although it may cost more than domestic trips, one cannot overlook the added experience gained through exploring other cities and cultures – especially when visiting places such as Hong Kong!
To provide an enjoyable budget-friendly itinerary for families, I have compiled a list of my favorite international destinations which offer something for everyone.
Alaska: Juneau
Alaska is brimming with beauty, and you can’t go wrong in this stunning state. Apart from its abundant wildlife and fantastic scenery, there are plenty of exciting things to do here as well!
If your travels take place during Juneau’s summer season, you’ll have access to an array of events and sights. This is a wonderful location for a family vacation!
On weekends, locals flock to the many festivals happening in Juneau. If you’re only here for select days during your trip, it’s worth taking advantage of this opportunity for some spectacular fun! The Juneau Pride Festival is a major event that draws people from all over Alaska; while the Fourth of July celebrations typically include parades and fireworks displays. In addition – if you want to catch the salmon run – be sure to check out one of these events!
Alaska
